Bellingham is the proud home to the Bellingham Bells, the city’s own West Coast League team. The West Coast League, or WCL, has established itself as one of the premier collegiate summer leagues in the entire country. Teams in the WCL are located in Washington, Oregon, and Vancouver B.C. The Bells consists of college baseball players from around the nation and have even produced a few team members who have moved onto the big leagues! Marc Rzepczynski, Jeff Francis, Ty Taubenheim, and Kevin Richardson are just a few of the former Bellingham Bells who have made it on to MLB teams. In 2014, the Bells became only the fourth team in WCL history to win a championship. Go Bells!
