Man who left bank with found money sentenced to jail

A man who found $2,000 in an unmarked envelope in a bank in Bellingham, Washington, then walked out with the money and spent it, has been sentenced to four months in jail for second-degree theft. The Bellingham Herald reports that a man withdrew $2,000 in cash from another downtown bank on May 27, 2014, then walked into a U.S. Bank branch to open an account for his new auto dealership.
