Haggen finding bidders for some stores – but not in Port Orchard

The Seattle Times is reporting that the Bellingham, Wash.,-based company, now is in the middle of a bankruptcy restructuring following its failed $9.4 billion merger that included 146 Albertsons and Safeway stores on the West Coast. The Port Orchard store is among a group of marginally producing outlets that still are slated to close in late November.
