Grieving parents workshop next week in Bellingham

A workshop for parents who have lost children will let grieving families share their experiences and learn from others Wednesday, July 8. Attendees of “Transcending the Traumatic Loss of a Child” will have a chance to talk about traumatic loss with others who have also lived through a sudden devastating loss. Carolyn V. Coarsey, who lost her fiance in the Delta Air Lines Flight 191 plane crash, will lead the workshop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Emergency Coordination Center, To reserve a spot, contact support officer Kendra Cristelli at 360-739-4144.
