Bellingham theater puts limits on costumes for a Star Wars: The Force Awakensa

Movie-goers planning to wear a costume for the opening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will want to put some thought into what they bring to the theater as the long-awaited seventh installment of the series opens Thursday, Dec. 17. Fans going to see latest “Star Wars” film won’t be allowed to bring masks, props, face paint or weapons into Regal Cinema movie theaters, including the Barkley Village 16, according to the company. The first screenings of the movie in Bellingham begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Regal Cinemas Barkley Village 16 .
